Gumdrop Bread

Gumdrop Bread is a unique kind of bread which can be made easier for the breakfast.

Gumdrop bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk 1
  • /2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup nutmeats
  • 1/2 cup diced gumdrops

Instructions:

  1. Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add vegetable oil or shortening.
  3. Mix the beaten egg and milk and add to dry ingredients.
  4. Mix smooth without beating. Dredge raisins, nutmeats, and gumdrops.
  5. Add to the first mixture. Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
  6. Let rise 20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

Tangerine Bread

It is the different flavor bread, you won’t get fruity flavor when you make this bread. So make sure you are aware of what you will be cooking.

Tangerine Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons grated tangerine peel
  • 1/2 cup pecans,
  • chopped 1 egg,

Instructions:

  1. First of all beat egg and 1/2 cup fresh tangerine juice and  1/2 cup milk
  2. Add 1/4 cup butter, melt them and then add to the mixture
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and Grease an 8 x 6 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  4. Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  5. Add all remaining ingredients at once.
  6. Stir until well blended. Pour into prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.
  8. Let stand 10 minutes.
  9. Remove carefully from pan and let cool completely on a rack.

Zucchini-Pineapple Bread

If you loved the Pumpkin Pecan Bread, then this is a variation of pumpkin bread made with zucchini and pineapple.

Zucchini Pineapple Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs, beaten fluffy
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups zucchini, peeled, grated and drained
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions:

  1. Mix eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla extract. Add zucchini.
  2. Sift dry ingredients into mixture.
  3. Stir in undrained pineapple and nuts.
  4. Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour.

Pumpkin Pecan Bread

The Pumpkin Pecan Bread is the easiest breakfast you can make that will make your kids happy. They will definitely love this and will ask for more every week.

Pecan Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 c Flour
  • 3 c Sugar
  • 1 1/2 t Salt
  • 4 ea Eggs, beaten
  • 2 c Canned pumpkin
  • 2/3 c Water
  • 2 t Baking soda
  • 1 t Nutmeg
  • 1 t Cinnamon
  • 1 c Vegetable oil
  • 1 c Chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 c Raisins or chopped dates

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together flour, sugar, salt, soda, and spices in a large bowl.
  2. Add beaten eggs, pumpkin, water, and oil; mix until well blended.
  3. Add nuts and raisins or dates. Pour into greased two 9-inch pans, three 8-inch pans, or four 7-inch pans.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 10 minutes, then at 325 degrees (F) for one hour for 9-inch, 50 minutes for 8-inch, or 45 minutes for 7-inch pans.
